Covered in Pollen

Here in Houston we are covered in pollen. I go outside and cry, and not because I am upset. Here are pictures of the pollen covering our cars. Both cars are black even though right now both look yellowish/green:

The first is my husbands truck covered in pollen:

The second is my car coevred in pollen:

I know there is a snow shovel, but before too long I may need to see if there is a pollen shovel. With this much pollen I may start to sprout flowers.

Goodbye Sony Reader Store

It's official the Sony Reader Store is closed. I'm sad to see it close. I loved buying ebooks from them, in fact my reader is a Sony Reader. I thought since they were the first ebook store I bought from and from what I understand one of the pioneer's in the ebook industry I wanted to take a moment and say farewell.

Girls night out with Reo Speedwagon at Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo

On Monday night 3-10-14; me, one of my sisters and some of my friends went to see Reo Speedwagon at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. My husband got the tickets for me so we could have a girls night out, thank you so much honey. We had so much fun, the band still played as good as they did back in the 70's and 80's. Here is some pictures from the concert. In the last picture you can see how many people were at the concert, there was a lot. I tried to upload a video but ran into some problems.

If you ever have a chance to come to our rodeo do try, there are tons of things to see and do. You can go to a carnival, eat tons of different food including of course bar-b-q, buy tons of different items including western wear, cowboy hats and boots, look at the animals kids have raised, watch cowboys ride bulls, horses, rope calf's, watch a concert and so much more.

So ya'll come on out.
