Our Princess

Sorry I have not posted in a while. Our princess aka our diva dog, got very sick and passed away. It took us by surprise and hit us very hard. She was only about four years old, we don't know her exact age because she just showed up one day about four years ago still a puppy, we think someone dumped her. It is getting a little easier as the days go by, but when we see her toys or her bedding or the last bone that she never finished, well its not so easy. You know they always say that you don't know how much you will miss someone until they are gone, that statement is so true. When I was growing up we always had a dog or cat, usually a dog. But I don't remember any of them being such a part of our family as our princess was. Our whole lives centered around princess. She was like a little kid, when we would come home from a store she would have to stick her head in the bags to see what was in them and she always knew when there was something in them for her. When my husband came home with some fudge for me a while back, she sat at my feet in the kitchen waiting for her "toy", then my husband pulled out her toy she lost all interest in my fudge.
Here is Summer, we always called her princess because she always acted like she was a princess as you can tell in these pictures. She would always walk into a room like 'here I am now pay me attention'. All she had missing was her crown.
